Health ministry organises webinar on improving patient safety

The webinar was inaugurated by Union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan who underlined the steps taken by the Centre for the protection of hospital workers. Few of these steps include ensuring availability of PPE kits and masks, insurance coverage of Rs 50 lakh, functional helpline, advisory on chemoprophylaxis, among others, the statement said.

Dr. Sharvari Inamdar, a 40-year-old mother of two from Pune, India, has become the only Indian to win two gold medals in the annual World Masters Powerlifting championship held in Mongolia. Competing in the 57kg category, Inamdar lifted a total of 350kg to secure the gold medal. She also achieved a total of 395kg in the 'equipped' category, earning her the second rank in the International Powerlifting Federation's 'Best Lifters of Masters/Strong Woman' title.
