Covid-19: Rajnath reviews defence ministry's efforts to deal with pandemic

The three services as well as other wings of the ministry of defence (MoD) ministry have been extending support to various state governments and union territories in dealing with the massive surge in Covid-19 cases.

Dr. Sharvari Inamdar, a 40-year-old mother of two from Pune, India, has become the only Indian to win two gold medals in the annual World Masters Powerlifting championship held in Mongolia. Competing in the 57kg category, Inamdar lifted a total of 350kg to secure the gold medal. She also achieved a total of 395kg in the 'equipped' category, earning her the second rank in the International Powerlifting Federation's 'Best Lifters of Masters/Strong Woman' title.
