Second part of budget session: The business and politics in Parliament

On top of the government's agenda would be getting Parliament's approval to the budgetary proposals and presentation of the budget for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The government has also listed the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill for consideration and passing in the Lok Sabha.

Dr. Sharvari Inamdar, a 40-year-old mother of two from Pune, India, has become the only Indian to win two gold medals in the annual World Masters Powerlifting championship held in Mongolia. Competing in the 57kg category, Inamdar lifted a total of 350kg to secure the gold medal. She also achieved a total of 395kg in the 'equipped' category, earning her the second rank in the International Powerlifting Federation's 'Best Lifters of Masters/Strong Woman' title.
