Chidambaram says Nirmala Sitharaman should appoint chief economic astrologer, BJP calls it ‘obnoxious’ comment

Under attack from its rivals over the economy, the BJP has launched a counter-offensive in order to defend the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. On Thursday, Congress's Rajya Sabha MP P Chidambaram took a dig at Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman for posting pictures of Nasa on Twitter and attacked her over economic indices such as inflation and unemployment.
