Common chargers for all devices soon?

In a move that would bring relief to large numbers of consumers using mobile phones, tablets, earbuds, speakers and laptops, the government is looking into the possibility to have only two types of charging ports in India for all such devices. This will put an end to buying a new charger every time you go for a new device.
