Public posturing on collegium not well taken: Supreme Court to government

The court said that no one, including the government, is allowed to choose the laws and rules to be followed and every one is bound by all laws of the land. The bench said that it was troublesome that the government was sitting on the recommendations of the apex court collegium for years.
