EAM Jaishankar to visit UK from November 11-15, set to meet counterpart Cleverly

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will visit the UK from November 11-15 to meet his UK counterpart James Cleverly and other dignitaries. The visit aims to strengthen the growing bilateral partnership between India and the UK, including the ongoing negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement. During a telephone conversation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UK counterpart Rishi Sunak discussed the progress of the FTA and the ongoing Cricket World Cup. They also condemned Hamas's attacks on Israel and emphasized the need to de-escalate tensions in the region.
