Arrested in connection to Parliament breach, Amol Shinde was jobless, felt time was running out

Amol Shinde, who wanted to join the Army or the police, was arrested in connection with the Lok Sabha security breach. He is from Zari Budruk village in Latur district. His parents, who are farm workers, had last heard from him when he said he was in Delhi for a police recruitment drive. Amol's family lives in a small house allotted to them as Scheduled Caste beneficiaries of a government housing scheme. He has an elder brother who works as a mason in the big cities. State home minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered that Amol's family be questioned.
