Actress Vyjayanthimala Bali, Telugu star Konidela Chiranjeevi, and M Fathima Beevi were honored with Padma awards alongside other notable individuals at the Rashtrapati Bhavan ceremony by President Droupadi Murmu.

Dr. Sharvari Inamdar, a 40-year-old mother of two from Pune, India, has become the only Indian to win two gold medals in the annual World Masters Powerlifting championship held in Mongolia. Competing in the 57kg category, Inamdar lifted a total of 350kg to secure the gold medal. She also achieved a total of 395kg in the 'equipped' category, earning her the second rank in the International Powerlifting Federation's 'Best Lifters of Masters/Strong Woman' title.
