Anti-encroachment drive in Surat area that witnessed stone pelting at Ganesh pandal

In Surat's Saiyedpura, bulldozers removed illegal encroachments in a pre-planned operation unrelated to recent riots caused by minors throwing stones at a Ganesh pandal. Following the unrest, heavy police deployment led to several arrests. Authorities emphasized that the anti-encroachment initiative addressed ongoing issues and was not influenced by the violence.
